Health Guarantee

Health Guarantee - When you purchase a Persian kitten from Catinality Persians, your kitten comes with a (1) year written health guarantee for congenital defects. Our kittens are vaccinated at 10 weeks of age during this time they also receive a well baby examination by a licensed veterinarian.

We vaccinate our Persian kittens with Fort Dodge, Fel-O-Vax PCT against the following:

Feline panleukopenia (feline distemper)

Feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR)

Feline calici virus (FCV)

We do not give, nor do we recommend the FeLv or the FIP vaccines. If the FIP vaccine is given your health warrantee will become null and void since in many instances it has been known to cause FIP in kittens, or weaken the immune system sufficiently to make the cat susceptible.

 Our  kittens are de-wormed with Nemex-2 de-wormer, at least twice by the time they are 10 weeks old.

If a Persian kitten is flown on an airline and is over 16 weeks of age the kitten will be vaccinated against rabies.

Health Guarantee - Specifics
Seller warrants that the described kitten is progeny of animals that are healthy and show no sign of any life threatening congenital defects. A congenital defect is more commonly known as a birth defect. Most are present at or near birth. Seller guarantees the described kitten against life threatening congenital defects for one(1) year from the date of birth of the kitten. This is a limited guarantee and the Seller must be notified when the congenital defect is first detected.

The Buyer should take the kitten to their own veterinarian within the first 3 days of sale if they are in any way concerned about the kitten's health. Failure to do this will substantiate that you feel your kitten has no health issues.

 If a claim for any congenital defect is made, written verification from a licensed veterinarian must be provided to Seller with a description of the kitten's congenital defect and their opinion as to seriousness of the defect. Seller reserves the right to have the kitten re-inspected by its own veterinarian for confirmation of the defect before replacing the kitten. In this event, the kitten will be replaced with a comparable replacement when one becomes available, breeders choice. Comparable replacement will be like sex and color. Buyer is solely responsible for any and all shipping related expenses. The kitten described does not have to be deceased for Buyer to make a claim for congenital defect and receive a replacement kitten. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SELLER BE OBLIGATED TO BUYER FOR A CASH REFUND OR VETERINARIAN COSTS.
